About the event

Not just for campers, but anyone who hikes, bikes, walks in remote areas, hunters, foragers, farmers or could end up on their own, outside without help for a few hours. Learn how to stay safe, find your way home or be found promptly. Basic tools and skills will be demonstrated with activities to put hands on some easy tasks.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the dryness of some topics, and potential hazards of some gear, children must be age 8 and up with the ability to listen quietly and follow direction.

The instructor has lived off-grid for some time, has Wilderness Survival Training, and practical experience from the reserves.

$20.00+tax per person ($22.60) or $50.00+tax per family ($56.50)

Payment can be completed in advance by e-transfer to generationsmarketplacealc@gmail.com and is required within one week of registering to secure spot in class. Space is limited.
