About the event
If this is your first time managing your hive through winter or if you experienced hive loss last season, this practical workshop with Daniel Kneblewski is designed for you. Daniel will guide you through essential fall and winter beekeeping practices to ensure your hive's health and survival in our challenging Canadian climate. Drawing from the Ontario Beekeeping Manual and insights from expert local breeders, you'll gain confidence in successfully navigating colder months.

Properly reading frames and conducting critical hive inspections.
Effective mite treatment and hive health monitoring.
