About the event

Shelley is coming back to prepare you for surviving the wilderness. Do you hike, ski, ATV, boat, camp, hunt, fish, forage,  snowmobile, walk alone in remote areas or drive quiet roads?  What if you got hurt and couldn't get back; or got turned around and realized you were lost?  In this class, you will learn how to stay safe, and help searchers find you fast!  Based off Search And Rescue reports and statistics, come see a demonstration of the skills, see a show and tell of all the gear, and try your hand at one of the most important and most difficult tasks.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the dryness of some topics, and potential hazards of some gear, children must be age 8 and up with the ability to listen quietly and follow direction.

The instructor has lived off-grid for some time, has Wilderness Survival Training, and practical experience from the reserves.

$20.00+tax per person ($22.60)

A deposit of $10 per person (minimum) is required to secure your spot. The remaining balance must be paid a week before the class.

You can complete your payment in store during business hours or by e-transfer to generationsmarketplacealc@gmail.com with your name and the class you’ve registered for. We will only hold your spot for one week without a deposit or payment so please send it as soon as possible.
