About the event

Shelley is coming back to take a walk through our forest with you.  Plant identification is much more than just trying to match a photo off the Internet, which can be dangerous and is not a risk you need to take! This class will give you an awareness of the dozen most obvious and easy to spot plant features to start off your skill building for gathering wild foods for your table or just for identifying invasive species to remove from your yard. Popular regional forage plants will be introduced, good foraging practices and how to use reference guides will be explained.

$30.00+tax ($33.90)

A deposit of $10 per person (minimum) is required to secure your spot. The remaining balance must be paid a week before the class.

You can complete your payment in store during business hours or by e-transfer to generationsmarketplacealc@gmail.com with your name and the class you’ve registered for. We will only hold your spot for one week without a deposit or payment so please send it as soon as possible.
