About the event

Adam from Branching Path Farm will walk beginners through some of the ways to start your own garden seedlings at home. You will learn about potting soil, types of pots and trays, watering, lighting, temperature, hardening off, and tips for transplanting into the garden. We will cover many common garden crops and their particular needs such as timing, pot size/potting up, and the benefits or downsides of starting indoors versus direct-seeding outdoors. The workshop will include a demonstration and a hand’s portion, and participants will get to start and take home some seeded pots.

$30.00+tax per person ($33.90)

Payment can be completed in advance by e-transfer to generationsmarketplacealc@gmail.com and is required within one week of registering to secure spot in class. Space is limited.
