About the event

Shelley is coming back to teach the basics of pressure canning just in time for your root vegetables to be canned up.  She will go over pressure canning safety, selecting equipment, how quality ingredients matter, tips and tricks, and money saving options. There will be a demonstration with a pressure canner that will be running from start to finish with a full explanation of every step in the process. You will walk away ready to try pressure canning at home safetly and confidently. If time allows, there will also be a chance to taste samples of basic pressure canned veggies. This class will be approximately 2 hours long.

$35.00+tax per person ($39.55)

A deposit of $10 per person (minimum) is required to secure your spot. The remaining balance must be paid a week before the class.

You can complete your payment in store during business hours or by e-transfer to generationsmarketplacealc@gmail.com with your name and the class you’ve registered for. We will only hold your spot for one week without a deposit or payment so please send it as soon as possible.
